Student Environmental Protection Ambassador (SEPA) Scheme

Forty-seven primary students and twenty-five secondary students participated in the Student Environmental Protection Ambassador (SEPA) Scheme 2024-2025 organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee to learn how to protect our environment.

Primary students learnt about the rich biodiversity and habitats of Nam Sang Wai, which deepened their awareness and concern for wetland conservation. They also appreciated the natural tombolo and many different types of rocks, including various igneous rocks and "Pineapple Bun Rocks 菠蘿包岩” on Sharp Island.

Secondary students had the opportunity to visit the UNESCO Geopark in Hong Kong, where they explored the East Dam of High Island Reservoir. They also took a boat ride to observe the Chinese white dolphins. Through these experiences, students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting our natural environment and the need to be environmentally friendly.
