St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
This is the last stage in our curriculum, comprising of students in Secondary 3 to Secondary 6. Students at this stage are more mature now. Some may choose to participate in cultural exchange programmes for months across the globe. Others may choose to hone their talents and skills further and engage in many other external or international competitions. Yet many would devote their time to charitable purposes to serve our community.
Students continuously engage in extra-curricular activities that align with their interests while concurrently preparing for the HKDSE. In recent years, the school has introduced flexibility in the curriculum organization and implementation, allowing students to top up their studies with International Advanced Level (IAL) examinations in addition to the HKDSE at the end of Stage III. This provides students with extended learning experience, which fosters higher levels of academic achievement and equips them for success in tertiary education. The implementation of this approach is supported by our school's Career and Guidance teachers, who assist students in making informed decisions about their senior secondary subject selection.
It is indeed not an easy task to find a balance between academic achievement and commitment to activities. Students here at St. Margaret’s are all-rounded individuals, so it is our belief that students can develop the flexibility to master both.
From Secondary 3 to 6, students focus on the last 5 of our 15 Core Values in the “I Believe I Can” programme: Commitment, Integrity, Leadership, Optimism and Perseverance.
