St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
The Careers and Life Planning Team provides guidance and resources to senior form students for their local or overseas tertiary education. We also provide counselling to Secondary 3 students for their New Senior Secondary subject selection. Various activities are also organized to raise students’ interests and awareness regarding their future pathways.
Subject Selection Talks are organized for Secondary 3 students and parents to provide relevant information about their New Senior Secondary Elective subjects that they will have to take from S.4 to S.6.
Secondary 6 students and parents are briefed to help them prepare for the HKDSE Examination and subsequent plans for their future career pathways.
Recent graduates return to school to share their revision strategies and encourage the current Secondary 6 students to work hard for their HKDSE Examinations.
Every year, our Secondary 4 students participate in a Company Programme organized by Junior Achievement HK. With the assistance of voluntary business advisors, students form a company. They set an objective, raise capital, organize marketing activities, conduct shareholders' meetings and run the company for a period of time. Through these activities, students put what they learn from textbooks into practice. This is also a training ground for them to master soft skills such as communication, teamwork, networking, time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Acquiring these skills are not only useful for our students while at school, but it is also beneficial to their work life in the future.
