St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
Our 4-Houses provide an opportunity for all students and teachers to communicate with one another. Students are expected to take this opportunity to learn about team spirit, collaboration, sharing of knowledge and experiences. Most importantly, it is our wish that students will develop a sense of belonging to the School, by finding their identities.
Our HOUSES are Wise, Moral, New and Civic. Each House is composed of teachers and students from different classes. All students are encouraged to participate in House activities and competitions.
Throughout the school year, a variety of Inter-House competitions will be held.
The House that wins the lowest House Points will be awarded with a SMCESPS Shield at the end of the school year. House Points can be earned through different Inter-House Competitions.
Each house is supervised by three advisors. House Advisors are responsible for coordinating House activities. In a new academic year, all 4 House Captains will be selected from Secondary 4/5. They will form their cabinets. Each cabinet is composed of 2 Vice-Captains, 2 General Conveners, 1 Secretary, 1 Treasurer and 8 Level Coordinators. The House Captains are responsible for leading all Committee Members to organize activities and competitions for their Houses.
