St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
The mission of gifted education is to systematically and strategically explore and develop the potential of gifted students by providing them with opportunities to receive education at appropriate levels in a flexible teaching and learning environment. Effective implementation of gifted education does not only systematically and strategically develop the potentials of gifted students, and it also powerfully addresses learner diversity.
To cater for the educational needs of gifted students, we believe that nurturing multiple intelligence is a fundamental goal of quality basic education. Our school has adopted the three-tier operation model suggested by the Education Bureau in implementing gifted education to assist students to explore and further develop their interests and potential in a wide range of academic disciplines, at the same time emphasizes personal growth and whole-person development.
