St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
Two S.4 students Zoey and Constance joined the Redress Programme, arranged by Asia-focused Environmental NGO. Through the program, they explored fashion’s environmental impact, sustainable entrepreneurship, and the art of restyling second-hand clothing, guided by industry experts. The programme ran from November 2024 to February 2025.
Throughout the course, they learned to categorize second-hand clothing for donation or sale, style second-hand outfits, coordinate their own looks for the final fashion show and complete a one-day internship at Redress or Retrovert, both second-hand clothing shops. Both students chose to work at Redress for a day, taking on tasks such as steaming clothes, tagging garments, and styling mannequins. By the end of the program, they participated in a fashion show, hosting a booth and showcasing their outfits at Central Market. The show took place on Sunday, 6th April.
