St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
Celebrating our 60th anniversary, our school organized seven one-day STEAM tours across the Greater Bay Area. About 623 students and 67 teachers participated. The cost of the tours was subsidized by the Junior Secondary and Upper Primary School Students Exchange Programme Subsidy Scheme: “Understanding Our Motherland” and the Senior Secondary School Students Exchange Programme Subvention Scheme (2024/25).
Students from P.5 to S.5 explored innovation through immersive experiences on 28 March and 3 April, 2025 to deepen their understanding of our country's advancements in aerospace, aviation, and science and technology, while fostering their curiosity and creativity through hands-on exposure to cutting-edge innovations. These trips provided wonderful opportunities for students to explore and learn about popular science at Zhuhai Aerospace Land, BY-HEALTH Transparent Factory, BGI Genomics, Longgang Energy Ecological Park, Zhuhai Artificial Intelligence Institute, and Baidu International Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Students expanded their scientific knowledge through engaging activities beyond the classroom.
