St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
10 of our secondary students, together with our STEAM coordinator Mr. Hui, recently embarked on a fascinating journey to Beijing, exploring the world of innovation and the heart of Chinese history. From 16 to 22 July 2024, they delved into the aerospace industry at Beihang University, a renowned institution for engineering. Students were captivated by the latest advancements in space exploration and aviation, gaining valuable insights from a renowned aerospace expert.
Following their exploration of the future, they journeyed back in time, visiting famous attractions such as Palace Museum and the historic Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan). These visits provided our students with a deeper understanding of China's rich imperial past and its cultural heritage.
The tour ignited students’ passion for STEAM, broadened their perspectives on the future of innovation, and left them with a newfound appreciation for China's history and culture.
