St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
Four students and two officers from Miyazaki, Japan visited our school on 29 August 2024 as a cultural exchange day. Our Principal Ms. Lee, our Japanese teachers, other teachers from the Modern Languages Department, and 4 of our students welcomed them to our school. Our students led our visitors on a school tour, where they got to see our school’s indoor and outdoor facilities. After exchanging souvenirs, we took our visitors to a Shanghainese restaurant for lunch, followed by a trip to Hong Kong Island via the Star Ferry. Despite that fact that it was a very hot day, we all had fun as the students had to complete a challenge whilst sightseeing!
It was definitely an exciting day for all the students and teachers. We returned to school for a small prize presentation and it was evident that both students and teachers had the opportunity to build a stronger friendship. With more of these exchanges, we are able to build even stronger ties with our Miyazaki counterparts!
