St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
Eighteen S.1 to S.4 students, together with 2 teachers, went on a Japanese Study Tour to Nagoya from 4 to10 July 2023. This is our second time to hold this cultural and language exchange programme. During the tour, our students had 6 days of homestay programme with secondary students from Aichi Keisei School.
Our students had a cooking lesson making Udon and Wagashi (traditional Japanese confections), and they enjoyed Yukata followed by a tea ceremony. They learned the proper manner of tea ceremony at our sister school.
They also had the chance to go around sightseeing this amazing great castle town, and they have now become more confident at speaking Japanese after spending a week with a Japanese family.
