Sports Camp 2023 (Taiwan)

Our students’ visit to the National Sport University in Taipei from 26 June to 30 June 2023 marked our school’s 11th Sports Training Camp. This camp was successfully held with the participation of 77 students, 6 PE teachers and 1 experienced coach.

During the Sports Camp, we received intensive training led by professional coaches in all four core sports: Athletics, Boys Basketball, Badminton, and Girls Volleyball. All the coaches are former professionals and experts in their respective areas. Our Badminton Teams and Girls Volleyball Team even had chances to carry out friendly matches with their university students. Our students were impressed not only by their skills, but also by their team spirit and their enthusiasm towards sports.

Overall, this training camp was no doubt a very valuable experience for all the students and teachers, and all the feedback was positive regarding the food, accommodation, training programmes and excursions. The Taiwanese hosts showed us great hospitality throughout the entire trip and were immensely supportive and helpful. Our students are grateful for their experience, and they have already expressed a desire to participate in a similar training camp next year!
