Our School, St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School, Celebrates Key Achievement in STEAM Education at International Conference.

We are delighted to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance STEAM education. In recognition of our innovative practices, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) invited our STEAM team to author a practice-oriented paper titled "A School’s Agentic Infrastructuring for Scalable STEM Innovation Guided by the MLMS Connected Learning Framework." This paper was presented at the International Society of the Learning Sciences Annual Meeting (ISLS), held in Helsinki, Finland, from June 10-13, 2025. This work is part of our participation in INSTEAM, a School-University Partnership project facilitated by the Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) at HKU. The first and co-authors of this paper include Mr. Hui Yik On (STEAM Coordinator), Dr. Lam Chun Kit (Assistant Vice Principal), and Ms. Tse Hoi Ming (Vice Principal), with valuable contributions from Dr. Pakon Ko and Prof. Nancy Law from HKU. This paper outlines how our school utilizes the Multi-Level Multi-Scale (MLMS) framework to expand and enhance our STEAM education initiatives. We are pleased that our paper was accepted by the International Society of the Learning Sciences, which has a high rejection rate. The paper can be viewed at the following link: https://doi.org/10.22318/icls2025.853390
