St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
The 61st Schools Dance Festival has come to a spectacular close, with primary and secondary students delivering breathtaking performances across multiple theatres. Our Group Dances—“Ramen in Harmony” (Lower Primary), “Joyful Drum Beats” (Upper Primary), and “The Washing Fiesta” (Secondary)—earned Honours Awards at this year’s competition, which featured 724 schools across Hong Kong. Additionally, our Primary and Secondary Girls excelled in the Solo and Duet Dances category, earning Honours Awards for the Chinese Dances “Splash Fiesta” and “Euphoria of Spring” as well as the Modern Dances “Remembrance, Respiration, Inspiration” and “I Don’t Wanna Sleep Alone”. In alignment with the Education Bureau’s “Active Students, Active People” Campaign, we participated in the entry of “Dance for Health” competition at the festival, earning another Honours Award and the Highly Commended Award.
In total, we obtained 8 Honours Awards and 2 Highly Commended Awards. On top of the above achievements, our Dance teacher Ms. Lam obtained the Choreography Award.
