The Odyssey of the Mind Hong Kong Regional Tournament 2024 (創意思維世界賽香港區賽) was held on 24 February 2024.
Our primary team was named Champion in Division 1 (Problem 2 ‘AI TECH-NO-ART’). Our team designed and operated an Artificial Intelligence device that determined whether a piece of artwork was beautiful or not. We were subsequently invited to participate in the Odyssey of the Mind competition in the USA!
Our secondary team also obtained the 2nd runner-up in Division 2 (Problem 1 ‘DRIVE-IN MOVIE’). Our team designed an autonomous vehicle to perform different tasks in a theatre setting.
Both teams were required to perform an 8-minute-long drama to solve a provided problem, and they had to provide creative answers to spontaneous questions. Both teams did an excellent job!
Congratulations to both teams!
