St. Margaret's Co-educational English Secondary and Primary School
Two of our teachers, Ms. Chan and Ms. Tam, attended the awarding ceremony of 2022-2023 Peace School Programme on 16 June 2023. Our school will continue our effort in the promotion of well-being and positive values amongst our students and staff. Not only will this benefit our school community, but it is our belief that our students can positively influence others, making a global difference!
For the second year in a row, our school participated in the Peace School programme, co-organized by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association and the Rotary Action Group for Peace. The Peace School program is one that promotes Positive Peace, which includes the promotion of harmony in our community. This element of harmony coincides with one of our School’s major concerns for 2023-2028, which is to strengthen Positive Education. Our students participated in various activities related to 4 different domains: 1) Participating in Community Services; 2) Promoting Sustainable Development Goals; 3) Recognizing United Nations International Days; and 4) Engaging in Culture and Action for Peace.
