Last year, our school participated in a Peace School programme co-organized by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association and the Rotary Action Group for Peace. The Peace School Programme aims to link schools with a common goal to nurture positive values for peacebuilding in the minds of children and young people. It focuses on supporting positive peace education---to address the needs of the youth in meeting social and global challenges, to support global citizenship education, and to provide international exposure opportunities for youths and teachers. Our students participated in various activities related to 4 different domains: 1) Participating in Community Services; 2) Promoting Sustainable Development Goals; 3) Recognizing United Nations International Days; and 4) Engaging in Culture and Action for Peace. Through the activities, our students learnt more about Positive Peace characteristics such as harmony and well-being, and they became more aware of creating an environment to engage positively with each other. Our school has therefore been recognized as a "Pioneer Peace School 2021-2022".

Our Principal, Ms. Lee, also attended the official launch of 2022-2023 Peace School Programme on 11 November 2022. Our school will continue our dedication and responsibility in the areas of promoting peace and sustainable development in the global community.
