Overall Champion in Inter-school Athletics Competition

The Inter-school Athletics Competition was successfully held this year and ended on 10 June 2022 at Wan Chai Sports Ground, with us getting great results with many students outperforming themselves.

For the Girls Team, we obtained 31 medals in total with 10 Champions, 6 First Runners-up, 7 Second Runners-up and 8 fourth places. S3C Jia Wai Yin Tiffany was crowned Champion in Girls B Grade Long Jump with the result of 5.76m and broke the record (Old Record: 5.61m - 2013/14).

For overall Team results, we obtained the Overall Champion out of 24 schools in Division Two with Girls B Grade and C Grade Team Champion and Girls A Grade Team First Runner-up. Although there will not be any promotion and relegation this year, there are many positives to take from this year’s performance. We will keep it up with our best efforts and continue to perform our very best!

For the Boys Team, with the greatest effort from all our boys team members, we are placed 11 out of 16 schools in Division ONE. We will still be competing in Division One next year (the highest standard of HK Inter-School Athletics Competition).

St. Margaret’s is proud that our students can achieve such excellent results after the suspension of competition for over 2 years.
